NON-SIGN
In addition to residential work, HV Engineers will often support artists in creating thier installations. The Non-Sign, created by Daniel Minhayo and Annie Han of Lead Pencil Studios was constructed last fall in Blaine, WA at the border crossing. It is composed of individual steel rods welded together to form a free standing three-dimensional mesh. Check out this amazing video of Daniel and Annie creating the Non-Sign.

CAPITOL HILL RESIDENCE
One of our more recent projects, Capitol Hill Residence, designed by Balance Associates, is currently being built by Charter Construction. Lauren Tindall of Balance took some great shots of the framing, click below to check them out.
Be sure to look at the stair; one solid steel bar stringer supports cantilevered tapered angles that will, when completed, receive acrylic treads.
