These three townhomes in West Seattle are positioned on an extremely steep site with commanding water views. Due to 50 feet of loose soil on the steep hillside, the structural design of the foundation became a critical component of the project. The spaces are defined by exposed structural-concrete slabs, concrete-masonry shear walls, structural steel, and glass.
